Privacy Notice

I Pair U AB provides the I Pair U professional-network service. This notice explains how account, professional-network and connected-app information is used within the platform, including information you choose to retrieve from Google.

What we process and why

  • Account and security information, such as your name, email and sign-in identifiers, to operate and secure your account.
  • Profile, career, skills, community and work information you choose to provide to operate the features you request.
  • Contact information you choose to import or sync to build and manage your professional network.
  • Connected-app identifiers, granted scopes and encrypted credentials needed to maintain or disconnect integrations.

Google-connected data

  • Google Contacts access is requested during a Google authorization flow. The permissions requested depend on whether you choose contact import, synchronization or a separate supported Google capability.
  • Contacts retrieved through a Google connection are prepared in a reviewable sync preview. Adding or updating network contacts through that preview requires your confirmation.
  • Connected Google accounts and existing network contacts are distinct. Disconnecting Google stops future use of that connection; previously imported network contacts may require separate removal.
  • Google Calendar and Gmail capabilities are separate features. Disconnecting Contacts does not intentionally revoke a grant still used by those other features.

Sharing, visibility and choices

  • Joining a community, accepting account terms and connecting a third-party provider are distinct from granting optional profile sharing or event matching.
• Your profile and network settings control the visibility and sharing options provided by the service.
  • Authorized service providers may process data to operate the platform, including OpenAI for AI inference and embeddings used by Match Me and Ask features, and DigitalOcean for hosting and object storage. Specific recipients, international transfers and contractual safeguards are described in the applicable service documents and can be requested from support.

Keeping, correcting and removing information

  • Contact preview jobs, imported network records, account records and work-related records have different purposes and may have different retention and legal-hold requirements.
  • You can review connected apps and privacy controls in account Settings. Disconnect a provider to prevent further synchronization using that connection.
  • You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information. A submitted request is reviewed; it does not imply immediate deletion of records subject to a legal obligation or retention requirement.
